Been interested in AP for quite some time, but never sat down and dedicated myself to it. Something within tells me though that AP is where the answers lie to the myriad of questions that I have about past/present/future, my purpose and why things are the way that they are on this earth. It also obviously will help confirm that which I already know in that I AM infinite spirit having a temporary corporeal experience in this 3rd dimension. All the philosophical and metaphysical gibberish aside, I have finally decided to move forward with a daily practice in AP. I was inspired to use some of the techniques that William Buhlman speak about in "Adventures Beyond the Body". I highly recommend this book if you are just getting into AP.
The problem with AP is that there are not a lot of people around that you can really talk to about your experiences without getting strange looks. My 7 year old son seems to be my best audience since his mind is not yet fully clouded and locked in the material world. This is the main impetus for me writing here. To connect with others that have a similar interest in hopes that we can help each other achieve what we can not do alone.
That being said, I've been hitting this pretty hard for the last week and have already had 2 significant experiences that I can share, but will limit it to my last one that I had last night.
11/12 ~12:00am
Had another adventure last night. Used affirmations as I went to sleep to become lucid in my dreams in order to attempt an OBE.
This worked well and I was able to recognize that I was dreaming. Once I did that, I could feel the vibratory state throughout my body (much stronger than in previous instances). I commanded myself to my office as I understand we want to try and get away from our physical bodies as quickly as possible, but this didn't seem to work, so I exclaimed "To the office now" with more emphasis/urgency. At this point the upper torso of my astral body was able to raise out, but I still could not seem to get fully OOB.
I had read in Buhlman's book that you could ask for help in times of trouble, so figured that I would go ahead an try that to see if it worked. I mentally projected the thought "Can someone help me please?" and then saw 2 arms stretch out from the adjacent wall, grab my shoulders and pull me out the rest of the way towards the floor at the foot of my bed! It was crazy!
Once that happened, I felt really groggy, low-energy and vision was clouded/fuzzy. I commanded "clarity now" and my vision snapped into place, but my energy level was still way down, so asked for further assistance from my helper at which point "she" came through the wall.
She was short, of Asian descent and seemed to be wearing futuristic clothes. Her hair was short; silver/platinum with highlights of pink. Across her left eye was a painted pink horizontal rectangle. She looked like one of those cosplay girls.
At this point, I also noticed that my wife's astral body was in the room with us and she was freaking out wondering why I was on the ground when I should be floating blissfully through the air. Things get muddy here, but I do recall that my helper then picked me up and moved me through the hall to my office floor and was leaning over "working on me". As she was doing this she stated " This happens sometimes." and seemed to be attending to my upper spine area that I had recently injured.
Next thing I know...boom...I'm back in my body, a bit shaken, wondering what just happened and what I did wrong.
There is still a small part of me that wonders whether or not I am supposed to be attempting OBE's or not. I think this hesitation is limiting my experiences. I was totally unharmed in the physical though, so have reaffirmed that these stumbles are lessons along the way and that I am going to continue my efforts to claim my birthright of going OOB and exploring the spiritual realms. ~ ~ |

Back in 2002, I had an experience. I am not sure why or how it happened, but it was scary. I was laying in bed and I started to feel really sleepy. I turned the tv off and reached over to turn the light off. The second my fingers touch the little black knob, everything went black. I was falling down and I was flipping and turning at such an alarming rate of speed. Next thing I know, I'm coming to a very soft and "pillowy" stop. I was looking up from the floor between my bed and the little night stand. I couldn't move at all, like I was paralyzed. I heard this buzzing sound coming from all directions, it was very very loud. I thought that I was in a dream or something. If I'm dreaming, I'll just think about standing up and I'll just wake up from this really, really vivid dream. Next thing, I'm standing up, and I'm walking around my bed, and there were lights in each corner of my room, but I know that there were no lamps or lights there. As I approached my bedroom door, I could see my mom in the living room, and I could see her husband at the time in the bedroom, at the same time. I could also see through the door. I tried to open the door and when my hand got to the handle, it just passed through it, like I was a ghost. I look at my hand, and it was transparent. I looked at the bed, and saw myself laying down, and I freaked out! I put my hands together and looked up and said "I cannot let my mother find me like this" and tried to get back in my body. Things got really cold, and I remember the ceiling fan was on low, but it was so loud. Next thing, I finally come to and I'm on the edge of the bed, and I haven't even touched the light switch, but my fingers very close to it. It's like no time had passed by at all in this world, but in that world, I experienced about probably like 2 minutes of, well, that world. I was crying and called my mother in my room. She tried to calm me down and just told me it was a bad dream. For 5 years, I just simply forgot that anything like whatever I had experienced, had took place at all. Until I came across an article in the paper about out of body experiences, and everything I had experienced, this guy was telling his story and it matched up to a tee. I started to cry. Went out, bought a book on these experiences, and come to find out I had an obe. All of a sudden, I began to have these experiences again. I associate them with a feeling of dying so I try to not have them all together, but one night I had enough of trying to fight it, looked at my mom in tears and said just know that if I don't come back, that I love u. And she kind of looked at me like I was crazy, and then I went from sitting up in bed to laying down and when my head touched the pillow case, I went floating up towards the ceiling and went through it, and came rising up to a white picket fence with flowers around each picket of the fence. There was a gate in the center of it all. Quite beautiful. It was twilight outside, the sun and the moon were out at the same time. All I knew is that this was home. I started to reach for the gate, then felt someone grab my lower leg and pull me back down to earth. When I got back into my body, I had the best feeling I have ever had in my entire life. For at least 30 minutes, I lay still because the feeling was just incredible! Was this an obe or nde? I have much more to tell, I just don't know if everybody is ready for it. It sounds like an OBE that her fears of a near death experience led her to a place she would expect or hope for if she was dying.

Just in the year 2017 I've been having reoccurring dreams of me suddenly ending a dream and being blinded. Seeing nothing but pitch blackness. All I hear is either my name being repeated over and over or just random things like someone saying, "don't move" or "you" in a very creepy voice. I can't move during this. I told my dad and he went with me to talk to a pastor. I confessed I've tried doing lucid dreaming before but it never worked. But anyway the pastor told me to pray when it happens. A day goes by and I have another one of those occurrences. I prayed and things got worse. I would feel my body getting tighter and I would see a white bright light. My body would feel pins and needles everywhere. Like my soul came back and attached itself into my body. Then I wake up. To get to the point of my ex boyfriend, later that year I've met him. Time goes by and I told him about those weird dreams. He says that was him. I was shocked! We were still on the topic and he confessed to me something that no one knows about. In the year 2013 it was the night before my first day of 6 th grade. I couldn't sleep that night. I lay there in my bed picking at the bumps on my wall until I suddenly heard a whoosh from my window. I got scared and closed my eyes. A few minutes later I fell sleep until I woke up and felt like I couldn't move. Like my body was asleep but I can move my eyes and look around. I didn't see anything but I felt my body was super heavy. Like the bed was mush. I felt a kiss on my lips and well... Just more kissing. He said that was him too. Like he astral projected or something. That happened before I knew him! Please help me know what's the big idea. ~ ~ |

She was very young to have been astrally kissed, not sure what to think of her ex boyfriend. I find it strange she would go to a pastor to 'confess' something so natural as a lucid dream. |

I have been dreaming almost the same thing again and again. Over the years. Its started, whit (with) like a lucid dream where I twice dreamed spinning upside down across room to room and feeled some entity but I can't see it. Feeling was so real. When I woke up everything was the same as in dream, light of television working.
Then some years later it happened again without spinning but just like lucid dream and almost every time I feel something is whit (with) me but I can't see it and then starts new side effect like my head was exploding, in the dream... I can't speak and even scream is to difficult and moving, is to hard to move. Every time someone is whit(with) me, and I feel this someone is playing whit me. Every time when I start dreaming something like this.
The last thing happened two night back, When I was dreaming something kind of shiat, and then woke up in my bed, I was still in dream state, and suddenly I feel someone was slowly pulling my out of bed, I try to move but cant, then somehow I woke up in the same position like I was seeing in the dreamy legs,table. Feeing was so real-like lucid dreams. And the someone speak in my language I will follow you or I found you, you can't get rid of me, go to hell. To my body speaking not clairaudiently.
The worst thing what happened to me until this time, just because of this voice. Pulling out of bed and attacking and just making me sick is the gun of all times, and the holly buzzing in head like I will die and after sometimes its continues. And almost every time I feel this entity just want me, love to play whit my body. I remember two time I was flying up and through room, I found that it might be astral travel in dream state.
I was reading about astral travel and entities in astral plane and brain wave, sleep paralyze and all other. But can get answer.
Can someone can tel what's the things is or ghosts or medical and how dangerous it is. It isn't scare me, maybe little, but need help guys. ~ ~

Just A Dream Or Something More? by unicron1000 Date: 2018-07-30

Greetings, I am an almost 16 year old boy with a firm interest in the supernatural and paranormal areas. And with that, I need help or advice on something that I can hardly even explain.
Just last night, technically this morning, I decided to try something I have never done before. I tried to call out to my deceased grandfather (my mother's father) and have him enter my dreams so I could talk to him. And then I began to fall asleep a little after that.
But what happened after that I can't explain. I was in-between the states of sleep and awareness when I felt something was going on. I got hit full force by a wave of vibrations and a loud sound was hitting my ears. I felt extremely afraid so I woke up completely and just lied there trying to calm down and think for a while.
I kept repeating to myself "God of Light, protect me tonight" over and over again in my head. I don't know what it was exactly. Now, I'll tell you that I have attempted to Astral Project multiple times before but have never succeeded. But I do know what the vibrations feel like. And this was the vibrations x10!
I can recall what I felt like and heard just fine, so it couldn't have been a dream. No dream is that real. But was it Astral Project? Was it my grandfather reaching out to me? Or was it something much darker?
I have done a large amount of research on all areas of stuff "other-worldly". But in all my research I don't have an answer for any of this.
I need an expert's advice. I need to know what this was.

All those writings I did, living the stories in my 'dreams', so lucid they were like another world. It was one that I had created with the good and evil in them. I knew I was in control the whole time, could dictate and direct. What happens when you don't take control? It is possible the fellow created his own demon by allowing fear to overcome all other senses. I don't say it is the answer, only a possibility. |

I worked in Santa Monica at a salon on Wilshire Blvd. While I was there a manager from a different location was getting married. The stylists from the salon wanted to go to their bosses wedding. The salon was in Santa Barbara, about 1 hour and 45 minutes away. The owner of both salons decided to put us up in a hotel, and we agreed to work for the weekend so everyone could go to the wedding. My friend Angela went with me. We were very good friends, we knew each other about 10 years. We went to the same high school as well as the same beauty school. I knew her family and she knew mine. We also worked in the same salon. She is one of the most honest people I have ever met.
So off we go for the weekend. When we get to the hotel, we are told that there is only one queen size bed in our room. No big deal we would share the bed. First night we get to sleep after a long day at work. When I wake up in the morning Angela says to me, " I have got to tell you something" I say, "ok". She tells me to sit down and she is very serious. She tells me that she got up in the middle of the night around 3:00 am to go to the bathroom. While in the bathroom she decided to brush her teeth as well. She comes out of the bathroom and she says she saw me sitting up in bed and laying down at the same time. She then says, "What are you doing?" She says I then turn my head to look at her and lay back down in my body and went back to sleep. She says it was kind of weird that she asked me, "what are you doing?". We kind of laughed about it. I didn't remember any of it. This was 25 years ago. To this day I don't have a clue what happened but I think about it a lot I already submitted this story to Ghost stories. ~ ~ |

Why Is This Happening? by Frankie Date: 2018-07-03 Country: United Kingdom Last night I had sleep paralysis, locked body, couldn't move etc. Then everything went muffled and there was pressure all over me, a little like being under water, then my ears started hearing really loud static and then my body starts feeling all these vibrations everywhere. It felt like something was being pulled out of me a little. I started thinking 'it'll be over soon' trying to calm myself and then it was. I felt calm afterwards but also unnerved. This has never happened before and I can't help thinking there might be a reason for it happening now, how do I find out the reason? I recently came out of a five year relationship, nearly immediately started dating again and left the person I dated for 3 weeks. I'm also recently coming to terms with the fact I might be asexual. I've also moved house and started a new job. I'm currently working for a homeless charity with offenders. I feel very all over the place now and I want to think something out there is trying to tell me something but the rational side of my brain thinks it's just anxiety. On the other hand the experience didn't make me anxious per say. I don't know what to think, does anyone have any experience of this phenomenon occurring at a crucial moment as a form of guidance? What do I do if it happens again? I don't think particularly want it to and I don't want to visit the astral plane. I've also been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, perhaps it is my bipolar acting up? Or perhaps it is an attempt to get to the astral plane? I just need some guidance. ~ ~

I do not know about the timing but what this person experienced was common to many out of body experiences ... being scared stopped the process.

Demon In My Dream by Marina_4 Date: 2018-07-02 Country: United States State: California One day when my family was in California for vacation I decided I wanted to try astral projection, I put on my headphones turned on some music and tried to go out of my body. It ended up not working and I fell into a deep sleep. (this is where the weird stuff happened.) In my dreams there was my brother, my sister, and my brothers girlfriend in my dream I had told them about how I tried to have an out of body experience but it didn't work, they then told me there was a ritual I could do to have my astral project. We all sat in a circle with something or someone in the middle of it, I'm not sure what it was, but before we started chanting words, (I can't remember what we said) I decided to make my fingers into a triangle with my middle fingers up and the rest locked together. we got about 2 words into the chant before the candles disappeared and my brothers girlfriend disappeared and my sister passed out on the floor. I immediately felt a dark malevolent presence. It was so powerful I couldn't move from fear. I thought I was going to die. Then I felt my brothers arms wrapped around me and he told me go to sleep and you'll be fine. He can't hurt you if you fall asleep. He covered my eyes with his hand and I somehow knew it was my brother, even though I never saw his face. I was too scared to move, but then I woke up panting, and with sweat. Right as I woke up, I swear I saw my brother hugging me, but he was in the other bed with his backed turned away from me. I can't explain what happened and I am scared I made a big mistake. ~ ~ |

It began 4 years ago and I had couple experiences but they only last few minutes. But last year I was lucid dreaming then I opened my eyes in astral way, some source dragged me like I'm floating through my living room window. Then I stopped in front of the window. I thought I am going somewhere outside. But I was just watching the beautiful sky. It was really peaceful moment. But then I fall to me bed. I love that falling feeling by the way:) . Then months later same thing happened. I floated to my bedroom's door and I realized that now I can control myself then I went to the living rooms windows again and I tried to go outside on purpose. But I couldn't. Then I fell again to my bed. Just 2 days ago I woke up but I couldn't raise my body, I only raised my arm and then I saw my arm was shining in neon colors like pure energy. I tried harder to raise my body but I only felt the feeling that surrounds my body, my body got warmer and warmer but I couldn't raise. I am curious about has anybody seen their body like I saw in neon colors?
When I success to raise my body in my early experiences I only raise like I am sitting on my bed. I always feel relieved but I can not make myself float. I only sit and look to the environment when I try to look my sleeping body I fell. I feel the connection between body and my astral body is loosened. I feel spiritually charged. I hope someday I am going to be able to the astral in a right way. But now I don't know how to make astral voyage, I only realized the right time when I am in a lucid dream. When I catch the right moment I open my eyes. I hope I am going to be better. ~ ~
