If I were rich I would have a maid...and maybe a gardener. But, truly, I do appreciate what I do have. This home is something I always dreamed of. I just wished I could have afforded it 25 years ago I was just short of 62 when we got this place and we have been here just short of 7 years now. Some say the physical upkeep is too much for us, but we are proving them wrong. I would rather be sleeping. |

My brother just got his property at age 52, he has ten acres, very pretty spot. Having been one that has struggled from time to time with inflammation I couldn’t imagine having the upkeep myself. He is enjoying the lifestyle, his alpacas help keep the grass low. Mum and dad went to stay with him over the weekend and attended an alpaca show. Not for me, but seems peaceful.
I’d rather be out and about

Ours is 10 acres too I'd rather be sitting by the pond watching the fish fighting over the pieces of bread I threw into the pond for them. Who will get the bread first... |
