It would intrigue me, and then I would call my husband. We do have some snakes (very few) on the property, but they are harmless garter snakes..

They pretty much did during the first year of COVID. Everyone stocked up pretty well when the trucks started rolling again, but it is a good thing that hubby always insists that we have extra food in the house so we already had a stockpile that saw us through.

I couldn’t keep it with Maisie, I would take it to the animal shelter not far from here. I used to volunteer there one day a week.

That's too bad. I grew up with a dog...and cats. The dog liked the cats and even acted as second mom when one of those cats had kittens. Also, our cats were always cool with our dog. Our cats were strays that would come and live with us for a year or two before going elsewhere. Sometimes one of the cats would come back a couple of years later. I always wondered if these cats had multiple homes that they rotated to.

Cats usually have more than one home, if they are out and about. Here we are told to keep cats indoors, they kill our native animals. Cats also wear bells to help. Our neighbours cat follows her everywhere, even down the street.

My cats are indoor cats ever since my cat got run over by a car when I was in my 20's. Back then, mostly everyone's cat was out and about, but nowadays, most cats are indoor cats unless they are feral. Out here in the country there are a lot of feral cats and they seem to do quite well. There is a program here, though, called catch and release during which they are either spayed or neutered.

I don't know if I could handle someone else taking over my garden. It was hard enough to give up the front garden to hubby...lol!
You asked before what if I could have anything I desired. I don't think I would like that. If I could sail through life with anything I desired, it would be so boring.
