Liberator
He will rise where the shadows have meaning.
In his hand he will grip the throat of the empire.
Two will become many as the skies trail
a heavenly tear.
Years will pass as days
and some will trespass
into the wrong direction.
Freedom will know another face.
Laws will crumble underneath
a massive weight.
There will be hope
in the eyes of the just.
What once was can never be again.
Under new rule a time will come
to prosper.
Poets will write of history
and the dawn will birth a new beginning.
The Liberator will rouse great numbers
and times will once more rise to the demand.
Liberator will shield the fallen.
He will stand in golden robe.
On one side will be fire.
Water on the other.
Liberator will rise where the shadows have meaning
gripping the throat of the empire.
Two will become many as the skies
trail a heavenly tear.

Love this Micheal. I can see the action in your written words. I think this could make a great movie! I am currently reading a book series by Terry Goodkind (I am halfway through the books) and in it Richard Raul - 1st war wizard to be born in the last 3,000 year - of the new world is the liberator after he kills his evil degenerate father, and the Emperor of the old world is the bad guy - a dream walker who invades the dreams of others making slaves of his people for "the good of all".

I never trust anymore in the charisma and character of people of large reputation, because they're still people. Fallible, and easily capable of getting wrong, being ruled by emotions, or being led astray by those around them, and subject to fated events.
This makes me nervous, because types like this have in the past inspired large numbers of people to do horrible things.
Tempest in my teacup. Definitely not a boring poem.

Grandly envisioned poem on the liberator. Perhaps a metaphor for our own internal liberator who frees us to see new ways of being and seeing. In any case truly awesome poem my friend. You show me a different form of emancipation that is inspiring in its vastness.
