Time's Next Toll
Again I see her
sitting there
on my front porch
in wicker chair.
I have seen her now
so many times,
her sitting there
reciting rhymes.
She in that chair.
She always sits
eerily laughing
as she knits.
Reciting her rhymes.
Fire in her eyes.
Hair white as snow
surrounded by flies.
Once more I see her
from this road.
The moon so full
about to explode.
She in same dress
she has always worn,
badly matted,
tattered and torn.
And now the moon
becomes a skull.
Watch her disappear
till time's next toll.

Sounds almost like a spooky version of the Norse Norns or Grecian Fates. Really cool!
