Cerulean Sea Maiden
Sultana of azure Mediterranean crystal waves That wash over her like the surf from the Isle of Rhodes On an ancient morning in paradise When she bathed in the cerulean sea With scarlet tresses glistening Like embers from the hearth Upon whose heat Vesta sautéed barley For the soup of immortality
She is the grail of men far and wide Who basks in the first pink blush of dawn Like a nymph lost in dreams Of the palace of Knossos Where ritual fever greets her day That summons her to awaken To reveal the splendor of her ageless wonder For priests of the catacombs With her the treasure That knows only the reborn sun

Love this so much! You are truly the master poet with these writes my friend You once called me a "high-caliber" poet. Well, I think that title fits your much better than myself. I have always been impressed with your knowledge that you share with us through your writing and I enjoy reading you and learning so much from you as well.

Deep gratitude my friend. This was inspired by my dear friend and eternally beautiful woman. She is in her fifties but grows lovelier every year. I give credit to her for inspiring this. Much thanks my friend.
