Jerusalem Seeds
Christ age seeds in pottery jar For tree whose summer sleeps In dark winter of extinct leaves Not seen since temples of Petra Were carved into the rosy rock of ages In the lonely crossroads of ancient empires Where camel riders gazed in dusty silence Upon windblown cliffs Haunted by turbaned ghosts On pilgrimage of tears
But these seeds held the dream of life Waiting to be resurrected like Lazarus From lost tomb of solitude As the sundial shadow Plodded like a robed Bedouin Past the ruins of Masada
Two millennia after buried in clay vessel Whose DNA sprouts when planted Into wooden wrinkles of memory In a miracle of faith To move mountains of centuries Haloed in chlorophyll light

Phenomenal writing as always John So glad to see you posting your incredible poetry/writing again. It's been truly missed. I love the message in your words and as always your incredible imagery and way of literally taking me into your worlds of words.

Thank you so much, brother, from my heart. This was based on the true story of a 2000-year-old pottery jar dug up in Israel. Inside the jar were seeds of a tree that had been extinct for 1800 years. So they planted them and they grew into a tree. For the first time in 1800 years, the tree grew. Amazing.

John, I love stories like this. When I think of Pluto in Aquarius's symbology, something long-buried has come back from the world of the dead to the world of the living, and technology helps it happen. Wonderful poetic telling of this fortunate discovery.

Thanks so much, Dan. Indeed it is an amazing story that could renew the faith in the persistence and survival of life in even the most doubting heart. The pic showed the tree as healthy and with full foliage.
