“Family”
“I trusted you.
I cared for you.
Like a brother you were to me.
As blood thicker than water,
we were one.
Family.
I brought you in when you were lost.
Man, you had no one on your side!
Like some pathetic stray left in the rain
you watched life from outside.
It was happenin' man.
We were such good friends
and the “business” was so strong too!
And you with my 'sis!
Man that was great!
I was happy for both of you.
But we were more than the “business.”
You were my “man right by my side.”
And now all I see in you is a lying cop.
My “brother” long since died.
Tell me if my friend ever was
as I hold this gun to you.
And damn man, tell me why I cannot bring myself
to do what I must do.”

Ty I was inspired to write it after the movie "No Man's Land" with Charlie Sheen. I highly recommend it if anyone has not seen it yet. It's an older movie but it is very good

Dynomite my friend! This is a grandly envisioned poem with a truly surprise ending that makes for a momentous ending. You really knocked the ball out of the park here my friend.
