In case there are any ex pat Brits reading this forum I thought I would just mention that we have the Invictus Games starting in Dortmund, Germany so congrats to all the athletes taking part but remember you have already done really well to get there.
Also, it's the start of the Rugby World Cup and the first match tonight should be a cracker - France vs New Zealand (All Blacks). I wish all the competitors well and may the best team win (as long as it's the English Lions).
Finally, and this for me is personal but I thought I would throw it into the mix. It's exactly one year ago today that we lost our wonderful Queen, Elizabeth II. She came to the throne when I was 5 years old and was crowned when I was 7 - an event I remember well to this day. She was a lovely lady and never put a foot wrong and I'm afraid some of her family were a sad trial to her at times. Although I like Charles and Camilla I still miss her.

Sounds like an exciting time for you there.
I heard first thing on the radio this morning about it being the one year anniversary since Queen Elizabeth died. She was Canada's queen too and she is the only queen I have ever known. It seems strange now that Prince Charles is now King, Camila Queen Consort, and Prince William and his wife Kate are now Prince and Princess of Wales. I heard that Prince Harry was in England but would not be taking any part of the remembrance ceremonies. Also, we heard King Charles making comments about appreciating the support of the populance.

I had that problem too Kerri, but only with the Need to Talk one. However things seem to be working okay now.
