Do not look into the sun

I have always heard them say.

But I looked into the sun.....

today.



Yes,

today I looked at you in the sun

and there was no pain.

There was no price for me to pay.

My sight is okay.



You appeared in the sun today

and asked that I look above.

Your voice as always full of love

when I saw you in the sun today.



And there was only you and I.

We, on some other plane of existence

watching life go passing by.



You said much the same as you had before.

Yes,

there was one other time I saw you in the sun.

In a dream you and I talked as we became one.



That time was special.

This time was too.

But this time spoke of good-bye's

that I never thought I would hear coming from you.



I see I was wrong.

There is a price to pay for looking into the sun.
