Depth of feeling is measured
by the emotion you allow in.
Passion needs a balance of
both positive and negative
energy to survive.
There are ever expanding
impulses we create in our minds
to evaluate our lives.
We compete for meaningless
appraisal that cannot
keep up with the ideals
continuously being
manufactured from a never
ending conveyor belt.
The hard part is finding
stability in an overwhelming
network of hypothesis.
Sorting out the valuable from
the unnecessary to end up with
what’s important.
To feel free, to be real
so you can let the sun in
and allow the shadows to pass.
