Dandelion Bear
Dandelion bear Dines in patch of heaven On Yukon summer soma stems Like a lotus eater on fire with Shangri La Whose ivory thresh Is a prelude to cavernous combustion Wherein lies the wildflower sutra
As he eats local From nature’s produce market of love While humans paint retina And camera lens With shades of wonder Whose art is a quest For his pure unadulterated dream Of forest freedom

Oh, to have such freedom. I am feeling so caged at the moment.

You will find a way out of the cage, my friend. Freedom will be yours to relish with the passing of seasons. I feel for you my friend. I know the despair that comes with the cage.

Lovely write here John I love the message within and as always with you the perfect imagery. I love nature as you know and it offers us such freedom and healing in so many ways if we pay attention to its song. Great piece/read Thank you for sharing.

Great thanks, Michael. We saw this bear in British Columbia on our ride into Canada. It was so intent on dining on eating the wildflowers that it was feasting voraciously. Finally, it ran into the woods. Yes, nature is our mother that Native Americans say can take care of herself if we simply don't harm her and let her.
