Piano in the Dark~
Long legged days,
Life's laces..
Doing, and
Undoing,
Cautionary tales,
Fears exposed to sunlight,
But they ran for the weeds
Corners are for dust,
Crumbs & cobwebs,
Not for a woman's heart.
Her one Solace gone,
Nothing makes sense to the once
Braggart of common sense,
The familiar evaporates,
While she closes green misty eyes &
Listens to piano in the dark.

It's hauntingly beautiful and laced with strong emotion, sad kinda (in my taking of it anyway) with a touching ending, listening and remembering, even reliving days of old. Again, how I take it anyway. It's like an ache in the heart and soul.

This reads as the tale of a woman who has lost all that was important to her. So sad.

Sky, it reads like a Chopin nocturne of deep impressionist beauty. If felt the deep emotions in your imagery as your poem unfolded like a Monet of words. So very glad I visited you here today.

Keep doing and undoing Sky. I felt the loneliness and the boredom of the everyday. I wasn’t sure if the piano was her grip on life or death, to me it could be read both ways, which is clever if that was meant. Nice write Sky, good to see you.
