I like the order change too with man being the beast. Says so much from a wolf's point of view.

This is not true about the advertising interferring with downloading pictures. Paying for ad-free simply means you don't get the ads and has nothing to do with posting.
 
I have always used the hosting site (though not for Avatars or banners which can be changed in your profile from your computer files).  I know you can post images from your files as well, though I have never quite got the hang of it, because I have seen others do it.  To me it seems to be a very convoluted process and it is much easier to post from a hosting site.  Foxy knew how and sometimes did, but she preferred a hosting site as well.  She would often recommend free hosting sites to some of the members here who didn't have one.

Joe did make a post regarding Aimoo, which is a different platform than ProBoards.  ProBoards never mentioned anything about not being able to post from your computer.  They only advised me that we would be getting the ads without paying for AdFree.  He also gave us a April free, so the ads only started here the beginning of this month.  I think that maybe you are thinking that Joe's post was about us when he was posting about his group in Aimoo..

But modernity has taken over almost completely. Loved your dark vision and the truths it illuminated.

I was having problems trying to change my avatar using my ph.
Think one has to be using PC,tablet,Laptop etc. to do that.
Anyway..I'm leaving well enough alone for right now.
Appreciate all of your thoughts.
