Adult voice
Whispers are silenced
by an an elusive moon,
stale life can’t breath without
a resurgence of energy.
Searching for hidden meaning
in fine print, finding nothing
you can comprehend.
Your blue print is untranslated
and left dissolving in it’s truth.
Questions are tossed about
in your adult voice, that has
only ever wanted to play.

This reads from the voice of a person in a relationship where one just wants to play whereas the other needs adult support. I truly feel for you my friend. I know this may possibly be from memory of a relationship. You wrote this with deft strokes of genius. Your poetry shines in the midst of your struggles.

Sometimes we all need to step back or step out of ourselves and look back at our lives, what has led us to where we are, what changes we may need to make and where do we see ourselves going in the future. How I take it in anyway. Enjoyed very much I find myself doing this often and sometimes I have an answer to something, more often than not I am still re-examining myself internally. |
