Holding it together
Holding a piece of a puzzle
lovingly well constructed,
to now have it dismantling.
Collecting all the bits and pieces
for preservation, although
you understand they can no longer
be put back together.

It's a very well written piece and very moving. Sometimes puzzles can be put back together, sometimes not and even if they are it is never in the same way. It can't be. I take this with my own personal puzzle problem in my life as we all for sure have our own unique puzzles we are mulling over. I hope you are able to get your puzzle put back together my friend. Thank you Cat, thank you Michael, I agree life is a giant puzzle that we spend time constructing, to only have it torn down at the end. I think the "memories" like Cat stated are the bits we keep
