Musical Remedies
Floating on sound waves immersed within a long rehearsed output of emotion. Uplifting energetic rush sends goosebumps whimsically all over. Melodies sooth uneasiness, allowing build up to wash away as harmonies brush aside the setbacks, at least for today.

Love the way this takes me on a melodic journey into the heart of musical healing and then closes on a wistful note of at least for today. Music transforms my moods into joy or grief amazingly with just a song. Music and the outdoors are my antidepressants. But sad songs let me tap into the deep wells of my emotion to write. Just listened to Elton John's "Island Girl" which turned my moods festive. And your poem was the perfect accompaniment to the music. Like a well-versed musician, you write from the soul.

Thanks John, Music is my go to. Better than any medication I've ever used. Medications usually come with side effects I'm glad your test results were good ones.

Beautiful writing Sugar Thank you for sharing. Music heals all. Pink Floyd and Elton John always put me in a writing mood myself and I just love listening to some soft classical music when I am trying to go to sleep. I relate with feeling those (vibes) as I'm sure we all do. Music I agree is the best "medication" for sure. Great write!
