When Is It Enough?
It begins in the morning
and it goes through the day
amid the toil and tussle
within the streets of dismay.
It is the essence of business
in a hierarchy,
highly valued with its impact
on society.
From the moment it starts
it then spreads like a sea,
passed on to each person
reciprocally
until sooner or later
in its entirety
it again finds us all
individually.
I wonder one day
if we will open our eyes
and see the real picture
without wearing a disguise?
How much simpler existence
would certainly be
if we would wake up and see
we all make humanity.
To be able to start the day
and make it worthwhile.
Instead of creating stress
to start creating a smile
and to love one another
immeasurably,
without judging, accepting
differences we see.
There is no telling
if there will be this day
when the stress, when the negative
will all go away.
Though some is only normal
most would agree
we magnify due to insecurity.
Perhaps we should try
to start out with a smile
and see what transpires,
most likely worthwhile.
We are in this together,
together we should all be
today, tomorrow, for eternity.
