Not sure
what kind of
day it's been

now winter
no wonder so many poems
spring
from it's darkness

melancholia
we call it now
use to be
sadness

my attention span
is not what
it seems to you

just trying
to keep
my mind at ease
even when
I see the darkness
in me

our hearts know

how can light ever see
in this landscape
we all bleed
tell me if you please
why should any
live without
weeping

we are scared
from birth
we are not suppose
to scream
its just
what is expected
that I can not see

Oh I'll be quiet
in this sea of distress
if it
helps
you
weep.......
