Cold shivers running down my back
But of courage I have no lack
The dark shadows grow
Like wings on the crow
Fear, in its corner, a deep black
Running through myriad streets
The monster never retreats
A man he was
But now his cause
Havoc and fear, death to greet
Searching for safety is my cause
If ever a safe place there was
Searching in vain
His knife in my vein
The black crow lands without a fuss
Covering my face with his wing
The crow gives voice enough to sing
Singing my death
Singing my death
The crow covers me with his wing
