I mark my time by the rhythms of nature
the day rains came wildflowers exploded
snowflakes danced happily

Snowflakes have danced on my beloved home grounds for many days, Dip, In my entire state, our average annual snowfall is less than 4". Most of that is in the northern, mountainous part of my state, which is Arkansas. This little bit of information might interest you. It is the average temps in the city where I live.
Little Rock, Arkansas Temperature averages
Month High / Low(°F) Rain
February 56° / 35° 6 days
March 67°/ 44° 8 days
April 75° / 51° 7 days
May 83° / 60° 8 days
With this most unusual snow storm, in my city, we got an unprecedented, 20 inches over seven days, with temperatures dipping to single digits, and never getting above freezing. Thank goodness, we did not have many power failures in my area. My power never failed and my water pipes did not freeze. Tonight will again be 9 degrees, but temps will start to rise back to normal when tonight is over. I am really ready for some normal.

Dip, you have found a great way to mark your time. Indeed the seasons provide much contemplative joy.
Bows deeply, John
