Sad news to report We have just learned that our beloved Co-Admin, Rick/AKA/ Lost in Eternity has stage 4 cancer and is currently in hospice. He doesn’t have much time. This is a message to me from his Niece, Harlie. None of us knew about this. It was a total shock. He’s had a cough for a couple of years and was losing his eyesight in the months before we knew. He couldn’t breathe well and couldn’t walk well either, so I made him go to the ER. He was there for 3 weeks in October before they knew he had cancer. They still don’t know where the cancer originated, only that it has spread to his lungs and collapsed one. He doesn’t have much time. I’m so sorry to have to be the one to tell you all this. Rick is a very sweet, artistic, beautiful soul. I’m glad he has such good friends who love him. I will be sure to tell him you wish him well and love and miss him. December 5 is Rick's Birthday. Oh Foxy...this absolutely shatters my heart. I had no idea Rick was sick. He had the sweetest soul, and I will cherish our friendship and our poetry collaborations forever.

I know your pain, Stephanie, This just blew a lot of us away completely. We were totally unprepared for such news. We loved him dearly, as did most people who knew him.

Rick passed on Christmas day 2020. He is truly missed by all of us.
Also, I am sorry to say that Foxy passed away just a few weeks ago. She is also truly missed. We are still adjusting to our loss.

OMG Foxy too!!! 😭😭 unbelievable and what I get for being gone for so long. This breaks my heart. I assume you’re taking over the Castle Catlady? Surely it isn’t going to fall -sigh-

Yes, Foxy's death was unexpected and a big blow to the Castle. She fell and broke some vertebrae. She was brought to the hospital, was operated on, got water on her lungs, and died. This all happened so quickly. We were all in shock and grieving, and still are, but Castle life is getting back to normal.
ProBoards was of great help when we lost Foxy and I am still learning. They upgraded me from Moderator to Global Moderator as we Castle Dwellers and ProBoards did not want to see the Castle die. I had been given some powers previously by Foxy several years ago and I was her main helper after Rick passed. But there were certain things I was unable to do, like for instance, approving somone for the Castle as I was able to do for Sugarmuser (Sharon), but then ProBoards gave me the tools I needed and I must say I am glad she is here. I am still learning things but we all decided we wanted the Castle to continue and so I will do my best to have it so. ProBoards has assured me that if any extra help is needed they will be there to assist me.
There is a thread "Foxy" in Need To Talk, in Chit Chat, in the Village Square Section if you want to say anything there.

Do you mean that Queen Foxy has passed?
I know I haven't seen her in a while, its been a crazy year, but I have known her for a few years when the Castle was on Tap talk before the Castle move here, we both moved our boards here.
I am in shock.
I don't even know what to say.
