It’s time for me to wish ye all a happy holiday seasons. On Xmas eve, I usually have a traditional British Xmas eve dinner with my family, but this year, I’ll be all alone in my new home with my Xmas eve dinner. On Xmas, opening presents from family and friends shipped by UPS or Canada Post this year due to the lockdown and having leftovers from my Xmas eve dinner, all by myself again this year due the pandemic. On New Year’s eve, having a traditional British New Year’s eve dinner, watching holiday and Xmas movies, singing and listening to some Xmas songs on YouTube premium and watching the New Year countdown till midnight. This yea though, I’m too lazy to put any Xmas decorations around the house myself. So, what are your holiday plans?

Hi Naiwen ours will be a quiet Christmas too because of Covid but I will be putting up a few decorations - mainly because we did nothing last Christmas because Tony was too ill and I was too depressed. This year I intend to make up for it. Let's hope we all have a very pleasant holiday.

I think there are many people in for a lonely Christmas this year.

I will opt out of both Thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers because of the Covid 19 virus. I will try to enjoy it at home alone. I will put up my Christmas tree, but not a lot of other decorations. I will look to my heart for memories of past holidays when the world was not such a dangerous place. I must do my part to help bring this pandemic to an end. If it means eating a couple of holiday meals alone, then so be it. I can do that. Happy Holidays everyone.
