I'm new here, but have been a devoted resident to Proboards for almost a year now, but had another board once before but, not for long before so altogether it would be over a year so I know my way around here pretty good, not completely 100% quite yet but, I'm getting there. I'm Canadian who resides in British Columbia known as Beautiful BC., I love animals, nature, photography, and my board here at PB. I love meeting good people on the web and the only social site I mingle with is Twitter, I don't do Facebook. How I found you? I found you from your help posts in the Proboards Support Forums and recognized your nick name from yuku which is where I also used to be a member of but, got tired of their excuses so I came here where everything works and the staff are beyond awesome when it comes to their help and are fun to hangout with as well. There's great people here QF and am very glad you came and added yourself to their addition of great people. If there's anything you need just ask, I have learned a lot on how to skin these boards, nowhere near as good as some (Omg some people in here are so good at skinning coding it's mind blowing) but, I do know and have the basis is you would not mind me helping you? Ok I'll shut up now I blabbed I'm sorry I'll let you get back to your board. I'm gonna go sniff around!

That is just awesome, Linette. I was sure I knew you and honey, I will definitely be asking you for help. I just recently learned to make skins at Yuku. You can't imagine how disappoined I was that my beautiful skins, which I have so many of, cannot be used at the new Yuko boards. That and a number of other things, including the worst Customer Support I have ever seen is what inspired me to move, It has just gotten worse. When I asked if there would be help for us in learning to make our new skins, they said "NO", in no uncertain terms. Said they would give us the tools to decorate but we would be on our own. That did it for me. I really need good customer support. I am still a novice when it comes to decorating and building skins. We have some great Canadian members, A couple of them are on the Castle staff. Awesome, they are, but I will let them introduce themselves. Can't tell you how glad I am that you found us.

Awhile back when I was just learning of their new beta version then I had my board set 100% exactly how I liked it until I got tired of their excuses and lies, I just up and left and started fresh over here at Proboards. I was mind blown from the help and knowledge in the support board from the admins, mods, and the members as well, it was almost overwhelming. They are smart cookies and love to keep things organized so they what is what and who is who etc. they're good people here it's a real positive environment. Yuku is losing their battle, when I think about it it's their attitude towards the whole thing and their lack of knowledge of keeping the place up and running. It's horrible and I don't miss them, but am confused on why so many continue to pay for a forum to be adfree that they rarely get a chance to use. To be honest, Probaords is in the midst of an upgrade themselves and they've been doing this behind closed doors hidden away from us until they have it up and running and working 100%, something yuku lacked thereof, I never could figure out why they couldn't do that. ((O.o)) I know of a Karen and a Marti, also Elaine as well which is my mod in my board ♥ she's a sweetie. Thank you so much for having me QF.

Linette, in Our Fantasy Castle, the drawbridge is always down and the gates are always open. We welcome all who wander our way. Friends are where tou find them and you can never have too many.
I think another big mass exodous is happening at yuku right now. I know so many who have left already in this new wave. I will let them move my board to the new site and use it as a backup group. I just kept trying to be loyal and hoping things would get better. I have come to the conclusion that is never going to happen.
Support here is totally awesome.

Yep, same here when I was there I kept giving them money in hopes that someday their lies would someday turn to truth but, that just never happened so I stopped paying them then I saw where their ads were just totally ruining the looks of the board I put so much work into making look nice what a scam that was.
Poor service, ugly ads everywhere literally I was feeling pressured that if I wanted to get rid of the ads I would have to pay for a board I hardly see because they're hardly ever up and for poor service, it's horrible over there on how they treat their members, just horrible.
Here, they are so good to everyone, I don't know if they're honest but, they're sure helpful and knowledgeable, and that alone makes a huge difference.

I agree, Linette, on all points. I am happy to be here. I love it already, even though construction is far from complete. I too, have found suport to be nothing less than awesome. Best I have experienced in all my years on the net.

I have yet to have ask a question on the support boards. I've found every answer I wanted documented in either the help guide or a well documented thread where the question has already been asked.
I feel like I've fallen into library code heaven here lol

Isn't it super awesome here I just love it here, everyone is so knowledgeable none of them will leave one question unanswered.
As you already know they have been working on an upgrade but, refuse to show us even a peek of what it looks like until they are completely finished with it now that's what call awesome because they're not slapping it on our laps is if to say, "Here, now figure the rest out for yourselves!".

I'm still on the two to four hours sleep in small blocks twice a day. Last night I thought it was going to be different getting to bed at 2am. I woke up at 6am. Not sure how to break that cycle, it's been awhile now. The upside is I do get a lot done.

This board is great, Queen Foxy....Everything looks good and once I figure out the controls it seems to work well...I'm wondering, if I were to move my board to Proboards, if I could fix the background in place, and have different backgrounds for each forum on the board, like Yuku does?

Good morning, Cy. What a pleasant surprise to see you this morning. The answer ,Cy, is no you cannot have a different skin for every forum. In the beginning, that bothered me a lot, too, but I particularly like this whimsical, easy on the eyes skin that I am using. You can make and store different skins to use at Holidays and special occasions. I am not that great at making skins here yet, but I can struggle through it with help from their super Customer Service Agents. They can answer all your questions and they do it fast. They can tell you how to add little special things, like keeping the Lead post always at the top. You are dealing with top notch techs here who really know their stuff. There are people here at Proboards that design their own skins as well which is mind blowing beautiful, there are peeps who do skins like you and I do with the odd code adjustment but, then there's the peeps who do those skins and some look nothing like what we use.HERE is where you'll find codes you can use for your board. Then there's Bryan HERE who also makes codes and skins for us to use on our boards as well as many many others.

I'll venture on into trying more complicated skins when I am finished moving the Castle and getting my images organized as I wish them to be. For now, I am happy having something familar that makes it all look and feel like home.
