Someone referred me to Vogon Poetry... I had to Google "Vogon" "The Vogons are a fictional alien race from the planet Vogsphere in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy—initially a BBC Radio series by Douglas Adams— who are responsible for the destruction of the Earth, in order to facilitate an intergalactic highway construction project." Highway construction is going on in full speed to connect Lhasa with Kathmandu and the Chinese to "reinvent" the old ways of life in the mountains. I have been told that already Space Travel is on the way for earth-born bodies. Having destroyed the old ways of life Man is looking for new territories to be destroyed. Some poets have already changed from writing sonnets, haikus - to "Now the jurpling slayjid agrocrustles, Are slurping hagrilly up the axlegrurts, And living glupules frart and stipulate, Like jowling meated liverslime..." While the earth bound farmer watches
Dawn sleepy, golden enchanting, awakening, invigorating clear, lively, colourful, bright, rising, warming, bringing, hot, summer Sun. - Dip

Yes, well said. This was one of my son's favourite books when he was a teenager.

I like your perspective, Dip ... it seems our Earth is not enough for them to destroy with the galaxy in their sights. Keep writing and I shall keep reading,

Dip the latest series of my favorite Star Trek episode explores mankind seeking new worlds only to destroy them. In this TV series, Mars burns out of control just like the bushfires of Australia due to man's settling there. Your poem is a profound way of seeing our fate if we don't learn to live in peace with each other.
Bows, John
