When no one is looking I feel intense sadness for all that is,
for all that isn't.
In gilded dawn a hawk floats lazily light and shadow
on the mist in the valley. Man throws Plastic bags
on the ground which will never dissolve do we have to lose all
what we have
to experience what is ours?

So sad that some people do not realize the beauty of nature and pollute it with plastic and other non-degradable materials. Very meaningful poem Dip.

It is sad, Dip ... from people littering with plastic to multi national corporations polluting rivers, lakes and oceans. Beauty is all around us in nature if they would just stop their careless ways.
Yes a very meaningful poem.

A subject very dear to my heart and one that breaks my heart when I see people neglect and trash our beautiful earth, with never a thought that one day it might fail to sustain us in the manner which we have become accustomed. Australia is burning, my friends. Come summer in North America, it will be California burning. Both the US and Australia have leaders who do not care. Whether that is caused by IGNORANCE or ATTITUDE does not matter. Results are the same. Saddens me too.

Dip, your poem opens awareness of how simple things like plastic bags can pollute this planet. There is not enough recycling and too much littering. Even if the bigger issues are hard to solve we can surely stop this. The ocean creatures are especially harmed by plastic.
