the trees all in a line

the trees are lined up, one
two and three,
all pretty in a row,
as the lights
glisten on the 
newly fallen snow

as the stars shine
up above, the night
is fine, as the river
flows.

the trees lined up
one two and three,
every greens, and maples
all of them living
together, isn't 
that neat, 
just the treat i need
tonight, as i go
