i don't know, how to get home, she said to the deer that lay on the newly fallen snow -
sit down a few minutes and think, of how you came and how far you must go the deer said -
so the little girl, all trimmed in red with the white trim perhaps more like red riding hood then mrs claus
what way did i come she said while she sat on a stump, by a tree and placed her packages there and thought, now from which did i come
-
she looked up and suddenly she saw a path that was forming under the fog, but the snow was still falling, and she got up to get up and
she picked up her packages with her new found confidence
she looked over
for the deer that lay
in the snow
now where did it go
it was here, i'm sure
she said
but, she kept on walking
perhaps it was a dream
karinsuezen28 after all, she said,
karinsuezen28 and she got closer and closer to home
and before she knew
her ma took off her cloak, and got
her to dry by the fire
and they had their christmas dinner with all family around
but as the little girl looked out the window later on that
night, she swore that
she saw that deer again
er spirit deer, she called it
-
end
