we must thank
the little birds
for making us so
happy with their cheerful singing
each and every morning
some are still here
some are not
as the last of the leaves
are falling
it's thanksgiving
and we'll give
them a treat, yes
we will
it's thanksgiving
and here's to all of
you, may your day
be bright with cheer
as all the others have
given it unto us
this year
