Something Wicked this Way Comes~ Something Wicked this way comes, Out of the gray mist, Unexpectedly, Cocked head With friendly facade, Holds such treachery Behind eyes As pale as the Winter's moon. The helping hand of a stranger Who keeps his talons concealed, The giving heart, Who in truth beats Only for your downfall. A slow trickle of drool Is wiped away quickly As the trusting soul inside Slowly turns the doorknob. What has she let enter there... The night seems to Implode upon itself, Pumpkins shrivel on the vine, There is an uneasy silence.. As if God's creatures Have gone mute. Wise children in the village Chant in their sleep.. "By the pricking of my thumbs, Something Wicked this way comes". Wind rustles wild With leaves, One last Autumn gust... A howling prayer to heaven. ©Augustsky In quotation.. from Shakespears 'Macbeth'

Your poetic tale is wonderfully spooky, Sky!
Haunting imagery Shakespeare would have been proud of *applauds*

Sky, a Halloween poem of trepidatious wonder. You really have a gift with dark writing, my friend. I can feel the moods your create with that talent you have.
