Your wonderful poem reminds me of wildlife shows I have seen where animals suffer through a long drought before the quenching rains fall again ... I especially love your memorable final thought.

For some souls a passing by is enough,   

centuries dart forth and back in a glance,   

the universe shifts and is recreated again.  

All reckonings are recorded quickly   

essence permeates and fades like the   

sweet scent of magnolia blossom   

drifting into the setting sun.  

Tomorrow will come for some while  

others will loose their anchor and set  

sail for unseen promises.  

You, my Friends, have touched my soul 

with your deep thoughts  

and that experience will be everlasting.
