Oh my goodness!! Animals can sense when you are fearful of them ~ Probably why it was being to aggressive. I prolly would of ran too! lol.

Yes ... a few years ago while walking in the country I was attacked by two very large dogs who took turns charging at me. I waited until the biggest was in range and kicked him hard in the head, he stopped growling and backed off and soon the 'me too' dog also backed off. So the moral of this story is one cannot fight off a threat if running away and ... four legged animals are faster then two legged humans

And that's all for sure, Rick. My heart knows that to run is the wrong thing, but in such an instance, I think my head would rule when my heart would have been the wise choice.
