I'd have run for sure. I have run from an aggressive goose or rooster. Yes!! I would have run!!

Yes ... a few years ago while walking in the country I was attacked by two very large dogs who took turns charging at me. I waited until the biggest was in range and kicked him hard in the head, he stopped growling and backed off and soon the 'me too' dog also backed off.

So the moral of this story is one cannot fight off a threat if running away and ... four legged animals are faster then two legged humans
