 Alice is happy to leave Wonderland
Being with Peter feels really grand;
Into Neverland, they alight...
Lovely scenery claims their sight.
Alice and Peter are all smiles
His home realm should fit their style;
All too soon their joy slips away...
In this dark place, they cannot stay.
Neverland is gripped by chaos
Captain Hook is its cruel boss;
He demands Peter Pan be caught...
This is not the refuge they sought.
With magic amulet in hand
Peter and Alice flee his land;
A Wizard may assist their cause...
They soar off to the Land of Oz.
Their arrival is viewed by One
Though known as evil, she seems fun;
The Wicked Witch has turned mellow...
She possesses a cheerful glow! |

What a brilliant interweaving of fairy tale and legend. And a truly great twist to have the wicked witch come to their aid. Reading your poetry is like revisiting the magic of my youth. And that is a wonderful feeling.
