Much thanks, my friend. The coffee shop and restaurant setting was where I had job counseling sessions with my therapist from long ago. She and I had great chemistry and fun during them. Unlike this story our sessions were just her and me, not couples counseling. Each encounter with her was magical. XoXo John

I am really in the Christmas mood, John. I am having my big party this weekend on Sunday, December 9. I used to do Christmas Eve. Was very possessive of that time for my party but the family kept growing and growing and Christmas Eve got very crowded. Some had to attend an earlier event and they had to arrive late. Some had to attend a later event and they had to leave early. Some had to miss an event. It was time for me to back off and yield that choice day to younger family members with small children. I played around with some dates and finally settled on the second Sunday in December. That seems to be working and lessons the pressure on those who had more than one place to be on Christmas Eve.

Sounds like letting the children do their own Christmas Eve bash while reassigning yours to an earlier date is very expedient. Your Christmas party sounds like a blast. Since my grandparents passed on we don't have family gatherings nearby for me to attend. So my dog Ruthie and I have our own private Christmas party. She needed to stop losing weight the vet lady said today. Though her blood work shows she is healthy. So I got Ruthie the filet mignon soft food. Ruthie is in seventh heaven. XoXo John

It is working out for me, John, and I have several social events right up to a quiet, adult Christmas Eve Brunch and a wild and crazy Christmas Eve party with guests of all ages. None of the other party's will require any work from me. After my party tomorrow, I can relax. That will be nice. I love Christmas and I know you love your dog, Ruthie. Hope you two have a great Christmas together. Thank you for sharing the image of your book cover. It is very lovely.

Relaxing for Christmas in the company of dear friends sounds like a beautiful way to spend the holiday. I'm so glad you enjoyed my book cover image. I spend a lot of time thinking through the pose, camera angle, lighting, facial expression, and to other details of the image for my artist to commission it. I like how this came out. I have many more. XoXo John

Thank you so much, my friend. I love all forms of art, have all my life. Just wondering if sensual art which isn't too explicit is ok to post in the Venus forum? Merry Christmas to you my friend. For me Christmas is lonely. No loved ones nearby or even in contact with. But I do have my Boston Terrier Ruthie. She is a true companion.

I'm so sorry, John. No one should be lonely at Christmas time. Wish you were here. I'd invite you to my circle's get togethers where everyone fits in. No matter who you are or where you are from, you quickly become one of us.
About your book cover images, we ask that all images meet our Castle Rules for posting images. We do abide by the laws that protect children.
Here are the rules that apply to image content:
We do not allow nudity and porn in the Castle. In general, all private parts, boobs, butts, genitalia, and pubic hair are to be covered. No thongs that display the bare butt. If it is nude, no matter how cute or artistic you think it is, don't post it here. It will not be favorably accepted. Let's be considerate of all members.
Sexy is fine as long as they exhibit "Modesty" and "Class." No trashy looking poses. This includes member's personal sigs. No frontal nudity and no bare behinds. Management reserves the right to delete any post, text or graphic that we deem to be unacceptable. No questions asked.

The image I had in mind has no nudity but the pose might be problematical given these rules. Thank you so much for clearing this up. Now I know what the dos and donts are. Much appreciated.

I want to thank you Foxy because your explanation of image etiquette here was good guidance for me on what image to use for my erotica book cover. My original one was a symbolic image with a chess set, a man's tie, and a pair of panties. Sometimes showing less and using symbolism works better and appeals to a wider audience. So you have helped me immeasurably with my cover pic decision. Happy holidays my friend. And I can imagine being part of your Christmas social. It is reassuring to know that somewhere I would fit in among a crowd. I am most grateful to you.

John, where our images are concerned, we try to follow child safety laws that were set in place a few years ago. Our rules have worked well for us and I would be happy if they provided a guideline for your book covers.

Thanks my friend for bringing that to my awareness. Fortunately, this particular book is classified as erotica and therefore not accessible to children on my publisher's site. Also, the image isn't graphic or explicit in the least though it is suggestive. Thank you so much for letting me know about those laws. I would never make my erotic book covers available to children of course.
