Walk with me I know you are tired - I am tired too but let us walk together
for a little while longer down the memory lane Shangri-la was the name of the mountains
where peace was the integral part of living living life large in harmony from where did man get in his genes
the hunger of power and disharmony? no one really knows the answer 10,000 years and more of the way of life
have been destroyed by hot winds of power and all that remains today is worry, not peace. But, we have stopped looking for what we have lost,
and we have scraped off the dead, burnt layers, to ignite life in the mountains let not our mind take us
to a place where there are
no more flowers no more rain,
no more falling leaves no more the glowing starry sky
no more wind to dance on your face let us make
the choice to go on in spite of disharmony of today
and let us be happy as we love Life.
Thank you for
walking with me so far - - Dip

I will happily join you on this wonderful walk. Dip; power and disharmony should have no place in life. Give me the serenity of nature and a starlit night sky, the beauty of flowers and the wonders of high mountain peaks to bring back fond memories of long ago days of peaceful existence. Such an inspiring poem

I echo the beautiful words of Rick in their entirety. I have enjoyed this imaginary walk with the two of you, Dip and Rick, and it was real in my heart.

Walking is good for the soul, with or without company. With company is better, but we walk too little in my part of the world. Far too little, and with too much noise. I would walk with you.

Nice. So true unfortunately. Peace is hard to come by and we are destroying everything and eventually ourselves in the process. I'll keep walkin' with ya, it's a nice walk, look out for that dog poo there though. (points)
