Cloud Witch
She is a guardian of the deer, antelope, and elk. With cryptic stealth, she roams the desert with dreams of a downpour to fill the parched land with pools of love from the Goddess for her animal friends to drink in union with the clouds. Like a woman drunk on magic, she summons the clouds with seeded song and they burst into a million drops of water showering the cracked earth until the land feels the gift of rain to share with all creation in a splash of life.

Cool summertime tag my friend. Indeed more rain falls in some lives than others. In this case the rain is a welcome gift from the Goddess for the creatures who roam the desert. Thanks for the tag my friend. XoXo John

Such enchanting imagery, John; I love reading about benevolent witches/Goddesses

Thanks so much, Rick! Glad you enjoyed my Cloud Witch prose poem. I wasn't sure this one worked but reading your comment tells me it did. Most grateful my friend. John
