A Nepali farmer, a young petite French girl about to complete her thesis on comparative philosophy and a Dutch girl who is setting up a cheese making unit
sitting in the candlelit restaurant of Thamel, with fluorescence street lights blinking red, green and other shades on their faces
all they talk about is of that moment of peace
that they experienced as the dawn dawned
on the endless snow clad peaks while the night still covered the valleys.
Their every thought was for Peace.

When was the last time you had a talk with the moon - she asked.
As the autumn evening spread over the mountains and the moon came up in the star studded sky
I was wondering what to ask the moon...
The moon said to me listen to the new music
in swish of falling leaves in an ecstatic dance across the sleepy mountains
and blink away the hurts swimming inside you
dream again and smile.

A beautiful scene and sentiment. There is something in this write that makes me feel as if being there would have been akin to a front-row seat at a 1950's movie. Back when movies had human stories instead of endless battles.
