Welcome to Our Fantasy Castle, Ilene,  As Cat said, any friend of Rick's is a friend of us all.  Rick is a long time beloved member and co-admin here in the Castle.  I see you are new to ProBoards but don't worry about that.  It is really easy and we will all help in any way we can.  Let's use this, your welcome thread, as a place to ask any questions you might have.  Help will be easy to find if kept in one place.

Good morning Ilene.  Your name is now capitalized.  I am moving all of your questions to one place so it will be easy to find them.

That is the method you use for posting pics from most other sites.  If you are looking for a photo hosting site for your pics, we can recommend some good ones.  

Do not know proboard, is there a simple tutorial on posting a new thread?  Look on the main index page of each forum where all the posts are listed.  At upper right is a button that says Create Thread,  Click that button and you are ready to go.

Thank you so much, Foxy and thank you for the tags!! I am on a number of boards, but devote small amts of time to them and none like this one. I do get tags on those boards, and you will have to let me know if I overstep the size limit as I am not sure how to do the measurement. Appreciate all the attention you are giving to helping me, that is very nice!

Thanks a lot, Rick.  That is great info and I have some good info to add to it.

When I went to check some file sizes in Chrome, the new update has buried that info so deep I can't even find it. We all need that kind of info.  I needed to find a new and easy way to get that info for everyone. Soooo, I went in search of some ways. I added a couple of extensions to chrome. They both give quick info on file size and one of them even alerts the poster when they have exceeded our max limit. The best one is "image file checker." If you want to add this extension to your Chrome Browser, here is the URL: chrome.google.com/webstore/search/image%20file%20size   All you need to do is right click on a picture and scroll down to "Check Image Size." A popup on bottom right gives you full info.

OK Ilene.  Stay with me here and I will do a step by step for you, using Fotki as you do.

1.  Right click on Fotki thumbprint image
2.  Scroll down > click "copy image address"
3.  In Castle Reply window > Click Insert image icon
4.  Use CTRL+V to paste.  Then post your message

Ilene, good to see you here. I think we wrote a collaboration piece a while back at Poetic Constellations if you're the same poet. Very talented as I recall.
