why new and different
acrostic haiku trecet sonnet rhyming couplets so many forms of poetic endeavor why must I invent yet another when I have still to unearth all of the wisdom possessed by the greats of the poetic realm are there not enough dragons yet to be slain just let me explore the rest of the world using free verse to capture what I observe

A message for poets everywhere. To thine own form be true. Yes, I am a dedicated free verse poet too. Once I wrote sonnets. But they were stilted and forced. You have the right idea, my friend.

I'm a big fan of freeverse, Don. I couldn't agree more.

All writers should let what flows best for them guide them. That which is forced has no passion or beauty. I've always held that a writer should follow what works for them.

Thank you Don. I am the one, who bleeds verse without rhyme I am the one who feels I am the sensitivist it is my gift and curse carrying the double edged sword love and anguish ecstasy and despair the muses tug at my soul I feel emotions deeply I dance with the high moments cry with the deepest hurts
I am me - Dip
