Bugs Bunny is a silly wabbit
Calling Elmer Fudd "doc", his habit;
Elmer has hunted Bugs for years...
He only bags frustrated tears.
Bugs is too cool for his long ears
Elmer does not inspire fear;
His long shotgun seems but a prop...
As a tough guy, he is a flop!
Bugs often dives under the ground
He loves to move the holes around;
Elmer Fudd shoots and shoots some more...
Good thing his aim is really poor!
Bugs enjoys carrots and that is why
He seems to have an endless supply;
His loud chomping gives him away...
Yet he remains elusive prey.
Elmer is ready for a new hunt
The pesky wabbit, he shall confront;
Bugs rolls his eyes and broadly grins...
The hunt is over before it begins!

This is priceless! And the ending line couldn't be more perfect. You take a canonical cartoon and make pure poetic delight. I love your poetry because it uplifts. John
