Those words describe what poetry is for me. It heals. Thank you for sharing that passage as well as the beautiful art accompanying it. Most of all I am grateful for your encouraging comment. It means the world to me. John

I did not write those haunting words, John, but when I found them, I couldn't let them go. They are what poetry is to me as well. I had to find the perfect image to team it up with. I think I found the perfect one. Your writing is positively enchanting. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have a new poet in the Castle with talent such as you have, John. Thank you.

The natural superiority of women, yes I believe that; wonderfully passionate imagery you have penned.

Much gratitude Rick for reading my story. Indeed there is a book written by a woman called "The Natural Superiority of Women." I've read articles on the subject and gave some of the reasons for why women are superior here in this story. There was a society in Anatolia, Turkey, which existed millennia ago. Archaeological evidence indicates it was a matriarchal society with women buried with honors and men buried less lavishly. Osteopathic remains show no evidence of violent deaths there. So it is one example of how matriarchal societies are more peaceful than patriarchal ones. The Hopi Indians, before the Europeans came, is another example of a peaceful matriarchal society. Thanks again for reading my friend. John

Like the two of you, I believe world peace would be more probable with more women in power. In my heart, I know that women do not wish to send their sons and their lovers off to the killing fields of war.

I couldn't agree more Foxy my friend. We need women as leaders to make the world more peaceful. When women are put in power without having to be like men, the world will see the healing force of matriarchy. In the daughters of the world is our greatest hope. Xo John

I think it is worth a try, John. Since the beginning of time, male dominance has ruled most of our world and we have always been at war and war is always a constant threat. I think it is not only nice but very important for our men to believe in the power of women as leaders of the world. I think we just might find it to be a kinder and more gentle world. At this moment, we have a lot of improvement to think about.

It is time to release the untapped potential of women as leaders, mediators, and peacemakers. We've been through the endless saga of war and brutality unleashed by men on our children and communities. If men can step aside and let women give it a try their machoism won't be threatened. Men who are secure in their masculinity should have no trouble handing over the reins to women. If there is any hope for a peaceful world it lies in women. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I believe the words you speak, John and it is surely worth a try. We have a lot more women entering politics now than ever before. I hope the people of our nation are as ready for this kind of change as you and I are. Since the beginning of time, war has been the accepted way to settle all disputes. Too many brave people have died because unwise world leaders could not settle their own disputes without sacrificing the lives of their own countrymen. War has never made anything better.

Amen, my friend. Let the new age begin now. It can start in our own marriages and relationships between the sexes. Time for women to assume their role as leaders with their men.
