Hello QueenFoxy and everyone here. You will have known me a few years ago as GoldenGem on yuku. However I left the world of message boards as I had some fairly serious health problems to contend with and now I only post occasionally on Facebook. However on a more positive note I have overcome most of the problems and as a fantasy lover - and yes I still read Potter fanfic by the dozen - and these days very much into Game of Thrones as well, I just had to respond to your e-mail QueenFoxy and come along to see what the craic is.  I now am retired and would love to rejoin and take more of a part than I did last time if that is okay with you. I would prefer to use my own name as above if at all possible - okay the G bit is just the initial of my surname. LOL So I am going to register and hope that is fine with you. |

I hope so too Rick. I went through a very bad patch of ill health and depression and I'm not sure which came first. However apart from some trouble with my eyes I am back to normal now - or as normal as I can be. |

Oh how well I remember you, Vicky, and I am so happy to see you again. A lot has changed since you were last at the Castle. Our new home on ProBoards is fabulous and so helpful and dependable. Glad you got the email that was sent ot by Tapatalk, the new home of our old Yuku Castle. They just happened to send the message I keep up there in case one of our old members should come back looking for us. So very glad we have made a new connection and it is wonderful that you have overcome many of the problems that took you away from the net. I would be so lost without my time on the net and the people who are of such importance in my life. Welcome back Vicky. I am so glad to have you. |

Thank you Foxy, it's good to be back. I can't find my old yuku logon and I don't really want to go back except that I lost most of my images on there but never mind it's good to be here. I am having family drop by today on and off but I will have a good look round later. |

Hi Vicky, it's so good to see you again and am so happy you have decided to rejoin us Like you and Rick, I am a great fan of GOT as well. We don't subcribe to TV, but we do buy the DVDs and I have just gotten Season 7 and hope to find some time to watch them. Have to watch them alone as hubby doesn't like GOT and we only have the one television set. Again, welcome back!

 Thanks Catlady it's so good to see you again too. I'm so glad others like GoT as it's a bit er "ripe" in places. LOL I have to watch it alone too but I seriously loved series 7 and am so disappointed that we are going to have to wait another year for the final series. I wrote on their post on Facebook that if anything happened to me between now and then I would come back and haunt them. |

Thanks Cat, I hope everyone will just call me Vicky or even Vix at a pinch - I had to use my own name as I couldn't think of one - I didn't want to use GoldenGem as I use it for private purposes - banking etc., but my little grey cells were not working this morning. |
