Just a little background. The three poems I posted tonight were inspired by my muse a fifty something woman friend for almost twenty years. Her beauty is timeless and ageless.
Auburn Goddess
Auburn tresses falling in wavelets Like sunset clouds on fire with love That cloaks the green shirt of earth Whose deep forest hue rolls in rivers To meet the ivory shoulder of heaven Where cleft of nature’s music abounds That ascends into a Celtic beam of smile The promise of her dawn made real With finger drawn to sketch the universe On oceanic eyes of love’s sweet dominion A headscarf of nature’s burgundy

Much gratitude Brian my friend. Always beautiful she is. Her image could adorn the Louvre and draw crowds to behold her.
