Coloured drops float to the ground, Lightly winds blow them around, Branches swaying without care, Slowly each one turning bare, A waltz upon a west wind fine, Meeting, parting at the spine, Pointed red is the good fellow, With his lady dressed in yellow, Air grows thick with vein and stem, Trees all gain a blanket hem, Delightful leaf rain ‘fore my eyes, Under cool autumn skies.

As the many leaves around here leave the trees, this poem describes their flight perfectly. Love it Brian. You have not lost your touch

Brian this read like an impressionist poem whose autumnal imagery was both beautifully composed and emotionally deep. Fall was never more poignant than as written by your pen. You have the writer's gift in abundance.
