It was the time before the sunset when colors dance
in the soft evening light there was a soft drizzle
and, there was a magnificent
fragment of a colored arch - A Rainbow
slowly its entire arch
emerged through the pale blue sky children kept blinking
to find and count all seven colors silhouette of flock of birds
flew across the rainbow A sign of Freedom
from the confines of dark and dull days.

That is so beautiful. I remember such a rainbow, Dip. It happened on a dark, gloomy and cloudy day. It was the day I laid my husband to his final rest. On the way home from the funeral, amidst the dark clouds, the rainbow began to show through. It formed complete and behind it, a perfect and complete second arc of brilliant color came shining through. I will never forget that double rainbow. It was a clear message to me that everything would be OK. From that day forward, rainbows have been very special to me, and they do bring us much hope for the freedom we are all searching for. God bless you, Dip. Stay safe.

Dip, you make this rainbow come alive for me the reader. I've seen many rainbows but through your poetics, yours is part of the larger scene and the hopes of all humanity. Love how the children try to count the colors and your village that you bring into vibrant feeling and wordart. There is magic in your poems and how you take me all the way around the globe to your mountain home.
Deep bow, John
