Before we face the pain
Repainting darkness into a pleasing oasis, doesn’t conceal it’s truth. Positive attitudes created for more appealing appearances only mask what’s hidden underneath.
When is it time to verify the information, start acting accordingly to it’s existence? Sooner or later the illusion will chip away, proceeding now may give us valuable time. Let’s live a little before we have to face what's actually under the paint.

I really like this one Sugar This has me thinking of "fake" people, two-faced, etc. My take anyway. Awesome stuff

Loved this. The ending really made for great irony. Wanting to enjoy life before the pain removes the masks in spite of the hidden truth. Brilliant way to tie the poem together with hope if only for a while.

Thank you John, I needed to write this yesterday. ❤️ your reply
Thank you Cat, when you try to find the words you work through to a clearer view point. Life is passion when we lose passion life is empty.
