Luxury on the Reservation 5 star dining at the Hopi museum A pricey change from prefab fast food Native waiting staff in tuxedos And smiles to rival Parisian cafes With year round sunshine Inside and out
Dust storms usher us to Tuba City Where Navajo street corner greets us With directions to our expected modest motel We walk into a scene from Versailles Bed suspended in tree trunk frame Lacquered in dark brown Mattress for Buckingham Palace Curtains drape the windows In fine luxury form Her wicked smile tells the tale Of her first grand hotel experience

The grin on her face as she took in the room will always haunt me. Another piece of our quilt that stays in my heart forever.

Thank you for sharing this moment with us through your words John. As always, you literally take us there in your writing and spirit The memories will indeed always stay with you and treasure them. I know you do, just saying. Hauntings can be loving and wonderful as well, enjoy them and embrace them. Her spirit is always alive and always with you.
