Dream 7-25-21
I was up visiting my grandparents in Natchez. They were both over a hundred years old. We were in the kitchen where grandma was cooking supper. Bob Dylan was on public radio. He was performing at a place in Boston he hadn’t been to since the sixties. Later we were on the front porch as the sun went down. I was out in the front yard picking up sticks. My Mom and sister drove up with their dogs. My sister asked me what kind of tea I wanted and I picked ginger. But I kept picking up sticks with the intention of clearing the whole yard of them. But I realized it was getting too dark to see. Then I heard a song about a mother saying her final goodbyes to her child and helping her through the transition. Tears came and I awoke.

Much gratitude Don. Indeed my dreams are haunted by the past. Seems that is what is left. Thanks for your comment.
