Novitiate
A smoky brewery of dreams Where schemes are hatched By a henna illustrated woman With cardamom stained fingers A Sultana who deals in creams and dreams Sets to making a buttery beam In the eyes of the Pasha For the new bird in her nest Who is the sole spinster So she recruits her giggle of girls To teach the coffee virgin The birds and bees Of how to please a patron With smirks and tease And pliés to please From a hip smart ballerina In a coffee shop arena Where a gladiatrix named Amazonia Learns from her sister in arms, Achillia How to steam his beans With her coffee flower eyes

Intimacy born of the knowledge of natures rhythms and a devotion to the motions of the blowing wind

I read your poetic comments over and over and find more gems with each read. Love how you develop my poems into your own creations.
