Two Daughters Vie for Prince
One daughter dresses in gaudy jewelry With lots of sugar in her inflection The other daughter wears her modesty Like a proud blue Jeanne With a soft smile and even softer words That sprinkle sugar lightly
The two girls make ready for the prince to visit Jeanne says, “I can be sexy. Let’s have a contest dear sister. You flaunt your derrière for maximum lurid effect. I will give the prince a subtle hint of my sensuality.” Jeanne’s sister bends down as if to pick up a fallen coin but her aim is to pick up the prince
Jeanne turns for the prince She clasps her derrière and puts her hands in her back pockets. The prince’s eyes are rapt.
He says, “I too store my stress back there.” Jeanne replies, “Definitely, If you store your billfold there.” The prince says, “You trade in a currency more lucrative than dollars.” “My love is not legal but rather tender. Worthless in the marketplace.” He replies, “But priceless in its nuptial value.” She says, “Then my answer is a thousand times yes.”

Dip, each poem is a chapter in a neverending story. Thank you so much my friend for reading and asking an important question. Presumably, they get married but marriage is only the beginning of a partnership. What happens after that depends on many things. Much gratitude my friend
Bows deeply, John
